Half pig and half butterfly (otherwise known as a "Butterhog"), this fully handmade blown glass creature has a bulbous pink body with four stumpy legs, a corkscrew tail and a big round head. On the head are two glass eyes, "kissy lips" also made out of a dab of glass, and of course a fancy black top hat. Atop the piece are two light blue glass butterfly wings. Each kritter also comes with an adoption form, which you can see amongst the piece's pictures.
Caterpillars turn into butterflies, piggerpillars turn into butterhogs. Magestic creatures, they spend their days wallowing in smokestacks and dirty rainclouds, occasionally swooping down on unsuspecting truffle eaters to - you guessed it, bring them a fancy flower to honour their fine taste in foodstuffs.
